Bala Selvakumar Named Editor-in-Chief of Genomics Insights 

Poly is thrilled to share that the National Human Genome Research Institute invited Bala Selvakumar, an Upper School Science Teacher and Founding Director Poly Research Initiative, editor-in-chief of its digital publication, Genomics Insights (GI). The institute requested that GI be used to expand student outreach to its mission of helping the public use genomics to engage with society. 

 

The role, a one-year pilot, presents a unique opportunity for Bala to significantly impact the high school space, nationally. Bala envisions two key ways to achieve this:
