This course will review concepts needed to prepare for a Pre-Algebra course, usually taken in grades 6-7. Specific topics covered during the four-week course include fractions, decimals, ratios, and proportional relationships. This course is great for students who are entering 6-7 grade math and would like some exposure to the concepts taught at that grade level or those who need a refresher course. The class will consist of direct instruction with interactive opportunities to engage and collaborate in order to enhance students’ understanding of the concepts. Assessments will be given every Friday in order to check for understanding, but no grade will be assigned. Sharpen your math skills with this interactive course!
