A novel approach to history

Fulfilling a long-time goal, Upper School faculty members Laura Marion and Jose Melgoza found a way this year to create a unique interdisciplinary course: American Studies: AP English Language and AP U.S. History. In tag-team fashion, the two teachers present the course by breaking it down into themes rather than following the traditional chronological approach to history.
