Dr. Karepatian, the director of the USC Dornsife Armenian Institute, will moderate a panel discussion to examine the recent ethnic cleansing of the 120,000 Armenians of Artsakh by Azerbaijan. The discussion will explore the historical and geopolitical context of the conflict, identify the role of various contributing factors (disinformation, Armenophobia, failure of international institutions), its impact on the Armenian-American community and their experiences of cyclical trauma, and ways in which we can respond to this humanitarian catastrophe.
