Head of School Debbie Reed announces retirement

On Jan. 7, 2013, Head of School Debbie Reed announced that she would retire on June 30, 2014 at the end of her 12th year at Polytechnic School. Board President Dale Harvey wrote “While the board wishes she would stay longer, Debbie’s retirement is well earned. She has worked tirelessly for Poly for the last 10½ years. During her tenure, the school completed the largest capital campaign in our history—a transformational project that has allowed the renovation or replacement of virtually all our facilities with the aim of matching our world-class programs with world-class teaching spaces.”
