If you’re in Los Angeles this summer and plan to take in some of the city’s offerings, you may want to add the Museum of Contemporary Art to your list. Warren Techentin ’86’s Los Angeles-based architecture firm, WTARCH, is featured in the museum’s recently opened exhibition, “A New Sculpturalism: Contemporary Architecture from Southern California.” The comprehensive exhibition examines the work of 38 contemporary Los Angeles architecture practices over the last 25 years. In addition to the exhibition, Warren’s firm is also included in a book with the same title that documents the show and is the first critical examination and history of architecture of the “L.A. School” in the 1990s. The show is currently open at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in Little Tokyo and will run through September 16. For more information, please visit the MOCA website.
