Number sense is the intuitive feel for numbers and their relationships. The course is designed to help the young student entering first & second grade in the Fall of 2024 achieve a better sense of numbers and their relationships through fun games, puzzles, and projects. Students who achieve a strong understanding of how numbers relate to each other are better equipped to understand and utilize all the basic mathematical operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as a conceptual understanding of fractions.
