Crafts, Caring, and Community

Kids naturally love to help others, and what better way to do that than to make pet toys, art, notes, and care kits for local nonprofits?! We will spend half our time in the classroom making items to donate, and the other half will be on field trips to visit and explore Poly’s community partners such as the Humane Society, Union Station, and the Ronald McDonald House, among others. Kids will finish the class with a sense of purpose and play, meaningful satisfaction, and a deepening care for the world around them.

NOTE: This class is a 2-hour long class in order to accommodate regular field trips.
