Welcome to the world of Graphic Design. The modern Graphic Designer uses computer software to create visuals to inspire, communicate, and captivate. The Art of Graphic Design is the creation of logos, typography, and clip art. Graphic Designers are responsible for the layouts for books and magazines. They create interfaces for apps, advertisements, commercials, and video games. Are you an artist who wants to break into this world of graphic design, but don’t know where to start? Students will learn the fundamentals of Photoshop to create their own unique and meaningful artwork. Over the three weeks of this class, they will learn the principles of Graphic Design through a series of guided projects such as photo painting, digital collage, and poster design.
