Sharpen your essay-writing skills in this summer class. Students will analyze exemplary essay compositions, utilizing them as templates to enhance their own writing skills. The focus will extend to discussions and practical exercises geared towards mastering the art of composing essays under time constraints, as often demanded in test scenarios. There will be an emphasis on writing with concise clarity. Individual student interests and needs will help dictate the direction of the course while covering a diverse range of subjects and topics. Students will engage in writing assignments, both in-class and as homework, providing them with opportunities to hone their skills. This course integrates peer-editing sessions and teacher conferencing, ensuring a continuous flow of constructive feedback throughout the duration of the session.
