Spring Book Fair at Vroman’s Bookstore begins Monday

The Spring Book Fair is right around the corner! Shopping days will run from Monday through Sunday, May 13-19. Be sure to tell all your Poly friends, grandparents, neighbors, and alumni. Now is the time to stock up on books, games, stationery, and gifts or to grab that summer beach read! Vroman’s will donate 20% of the proceeds to support Poly’s Lower and Middle School Library.

Some key points to remember:

• If you are shopping in the store, please remember to bring your voucher as Vroman’s may not have extras at the counter and will not credit Poly for your purchases without a paper voucher. Locations include the main branch at 695 E. Colorado Blvd. and the Hastings Ranch store at 3729 E. Foothill Blvd. (both are in Pasadena).
• If you are shopping online, simply enter the code “Polytechnic” at checkout.

Don’t miss these special related events:

• Dinner at Blaze Pizza fundraiser, Monday, May 13, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. — Have dinner at Blaze (667 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena) and they will donate 20% to Poly when you present your printed voucher or show the voucher on your smartphone. Each person who purchases a meal from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. has the opportunity to be entered into a raffle to win a Vroman’s gift card!
• Dinner at The Habit (Hastings Ranch) fundraiser, Wednesday, May 15, 4 to 10 p.m. — Join us for dinner at The Habit (3733 E. Foothill Blvd., Pasadena). Present your voucher (printed or on your smartphone) when you order and they will donate 20% of the receipts generated to Poly. Each person who purchases a meal at The Habit between 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. will be entered into a drawing for a Vroman’s gift card. Please note that Poly will receive credit for meals purchased during the 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. time frame when the voucher is presented, but raffle tickets will only be handed out between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
