102-Year-Old Classrooms Get Makeover

Workers are completing the remodeling of Rooms 1 and 3 in preparation for the start of school in August.

These spacious middle school math classrooms, designed by Myron Hunt and built in the summer of 1907, feature numerous large windows and high ceilings. The remodeling of these two classrooms will serve as a model for the remaining Hunt rooms to be restored over the next three summers.
