Unique donations sought for silent auction
The Panther Club will once again host its annual fundraiser, “Friday Night Lights," on Friday, May 6. The event will include a golf tournament, tennis tournament and cardio clinic, 5K and Family Fun Run, and an Friday Night Lights party with silent auction. Proceeds benefit Poly's athletic programs. Reservations can be made online (deadline is April 25).
As part of the silent auction, organizers are seeking the donation of unique opportunities for a new concept called “Teach-a-Panther.”
Members of the Poly community have so much to teach current students—about life, careers, volunteerism and community service, and more! Parents and alumni are being asked to donate a one-week summer internship opportunity for a Poly high school student or recent alumna/us. The opportunities would be included in the Friday Night Lights silent auction. Click here to view some of this year's exciting silent auction items.
